Soul Inspired show playlist 28th June 2007.
The appetite for classic soul music on the radio continues to grow in Brentwood & Billericay & also on Phoenix FM's on-line community as well (7 listeners & counting) as I was rushed off my feet (well, in a sitting down sort of way) during this show playing requests submitted by phone, email & web cam. It was just like my old hospital radio days. Because of which we had double helpings of Jocelyn Brown & The Four Tops as well as Marvin Gaye, The Trammps & Johnny Bristol all adding to the rest of the playlist.
Thank you to Owen Wines, Stevie Lynch (doing the 3 peaks challenge during the weekend - let us know how you got on Steve) with 'Kylee and the Gang' & Mikey listening on-line in Staines, London & Manchester respectively & a special thank you to 'Coogie' who kept me entertained with his dancing to his request 'Somebody Else's Guy'. Coog's I thought you were going to do yourself an injury !
Blimey I need a lie down in a darkened room, until next week then?
