Local Football, Cricket and More.

Each week Phoenix fm Sport is now from 8-10pm Friday.

This past week we have been keeping an eye on the local cricket action, speaking to John Walford at Brentwood Cricket Club with only 5 points seperating the top three clubs.

We've also kept an eye on all the Friday sport, with the live emphasis on Rugby League Superleague updates. In addition to this, we are eagerly awaiting the new football season, watching the pre-season news from Brentwood, Billericay and also Southend United.

Join Dave Turner and Dan Westram next Friday from 8-10 as we head closer to the start of the football season.
