Brentwood Town Centre played host to four National Circuit Race Series events last Sunday (10th June) when top class athletes from the international cycling fraternity visited Brentwood to participate in what is fast becoming a staple event on many a cycling pro’s calendar.

Crowds of spectators in their thousands turned out to watch some of the top names in cycling compete in the seventh annual Brentwood Town Centre Cycle Races. Sponsored by Brentwood Borough Council and supported by local businesses including The Baytree Shopping Centre, B&M Cycles, Crest Nicholson (Eastern) Ltd and Brentwood Town Centre Partnership, race results are set out below.

Councillor Brandon Lewis, Leader of the Council said “This year, the Town Centre Cycle Races have attracted larger crowds than in any of the previous seven years, testimony to the continuing popularity of this event. Brentwood should be very proud to host such a popular and respected event in the national competitive cycling calendar.”
