Tonight I was joined in the studio by local gig promoter Paul Smith. Having previously worked at The Hermit, Paul (pictured above left with cohorts Danny and Sarah) has put on gigs all over Essex over the last couple of decades and shows no signs of slowing down. He currently hosts an open mic night every Tuesday at The Swan on Brentwood High Street, live bands every Thursday at the Essex Arms next to Brentwood Station, and this month launched a new band night every Friday at The Belvedere in Crays Hill, Billericay.
