This week's guest on Body Talk was Mr George Fayad, one of the consultant ear nose and throat surgeons at Spire Hartswood Hospital. He focused on sinus problems which can really get people down at this time of year. If you’ve ever had a  stuffy head with pain and pressure around the face then you’ve probably experienced sinusitis.  Mr Fayad spoke about what you can do to help yourself and when to seek professional medical help. He also be announced his new "scar-free" method of ear surgery and the impact this will have on some of his young patients.

He answered such questions as:

How did you come to specialise in the field known as ENT or “ear, nose and throat"?
Can you catch sinusitis – is it infectious?
How bad do the ears have to be to make it worthwhile having surgery to pin them ears back?
What is the best age for the operation to be done?
How quickly does the child recover?
