Skunk Anansie Skunk Anansie reunited this year after quite the break! They have released a greatest hits package entitled Smashes and Trashes with three brand new tracks. One of which, Squander, was added to the Phoenix FM A-List immediately, it is beautiful. Phoenix FM caught up with Skin and Ace just before the last gig of the tour, their self confessed home date at the Brixton Academy. Live the band were amazing, Skin coming on in a costume that looked like it was constructed from Bacofoil, they tore the place up, kicking it all off with Selling Jesus. They performed one brand new song, the name of which escapes Phoenix FM's Steve Mead, but he assures us that it is very good! :-) With a new album planned for 2010 you need to keep your ear to the ground for all things Anansie, you can do that here; http://www.skunkanansie.net To listen to the interview click here Written by Steve Mead
