Curveballs at the Edge - 3rd Rock Revolution, Tibetan Tea Company, The Void, Krystal Vayne Following the success of the show's debut gig at the Bitter End in April, November 17th saw the second Curveballs gig touch down at Edge in Romford, kicking off the return of the venue's weekly Tuesday Night Live event. Opening the evening were Krystal Vayne, an upcoming local foursome with a classic rock sound that definitely makes them ones to watch on the scene. Here's a sneak preview of what to expect when they drop by the Phoenix FM studio for a chat and session on December 16th. ![]() Next up were The Void. Fronted by local songsmith Nathan Clarke, the band have become a regular fixture on the local live circuit, and their star is set to rise further with an appearance at the O2 Islington Academy on January 26th - just after they make an appearance on Curveballs on the 20th! ![]() Next up were our good buddies The Tibetan Tea Company, a band we can always rely on to get us rocking and rolling! And that's just the drum solos ... They play the Essex Arms on Saturday (28th). ![]() Headlining were 3rd Rock Revolution. Hard to believe it's been 2 and a half years since we first chatted to them at the MusicTek Festival, they've been friends of the show ever since. The band effortlessly mix blues, funk and rock'n'roll for a winning musical combination that went down a storm! ![]() Many thanks to Matt, Mark and all at Edge, all the bands and everyone who came along for the ride. Curveballs returns to Edge on December 15th - if your band is up for playing, get in touch! Written by Nick Field
