Alabama3 Interview with Larry Love
ALABAMA 3, “THE BEST LIVE BAND IN THE COUNTRY” ACCORDING TO THE GUARDIAN ARE ABOUT TO RELEASE A NEW SINGLE “JACQUELINE” An Alabama 3 tour always was an excuse for celebration, and this one is no exception. Much has been happening in the band’s unique world of late. See them live, and this will become entirely apparent.
In an era where bands no longer need the huff and puff of a record company behind them if they want to reach an audience, it is fitting that Alabama 3 – a nine-piece outfit from Brixton whose music is pure American molasses, with a whiff of the illicit - are no longer tied to a record company, but are now rather going it alone. The first fruits of their recent recording sessions in the shape of new single “Jacqueline”, is as lovely, filthy, rich and memorable as anything they have ever done, and a taster for what is to come.
