CB October 7th 2009 (with Aristocrats & LAC's Mike)

Tonight I was joined in the studio once again by locals Aristocrats. Since their first appearance on the show in February, the band have continued to become a dominant force on the local gig scene and have also recorded a new EP, which we heard a few tracks from. There are 2 chances to see the band live this week – the EP launch at Monto Water Rats on Thursday (22nd), followed by The Bitter End in Romford on Saturday (24th), alongside OneSevenFours, Lamplight and headliners The Vortex. Join the Aristocracy at www.myspace.com/aristocratsband.

I also chatted to Mike from Law Abiding Citizens on the phone from Alan McGee’s “Death Disco” event in Notting Hill. Since the band appeared on the show in June, they’ve begun work on new recordings and have been making friends in high places – have a listen to the interview to find out more! Keep up to date with the band’s many goings-on and where to catch them live at www.myspace.com/laclondon (Mike’s model friend can be found at www.myspace.com/amylouisebohan!).
