Nearly the end of May... Musical Masterclasses BEGIN!

Last week saw the start of a new breakfasty-type feature, the almighty MUSIC MASTERCLASS!

Basically, I was getting rather baffled at exactly what every genre of music actually was, so I figured it must be confusing more than just me and thus, every week, I'll be playing out five tracks from a certain genre or era of music and giving some interesting facts about them- I'm dragging in some of the guys from the Phoenix specialist shows to help me, so expect blues, electro, prog rock and soul in various forms to feature over the coming weeks

In other rising news, our album of the week was the Fratellis' Costello Music. I spent the whole week in amazement at the amount of stuff from the album that they've already released... and I persuaded Station-Manager-Steve to put their latest release on the computer, so now you can hear Ole Black n Blue Eyes all the time... in fact, I may well go and play it now!
