Bodytalk 11th August and Next Week's Guest On this week's Bodytalk we had reports on the possible negative side effects of the use of Tamiflu in Children and the link between alcohol intake and certain types of Cancer, Particularly that of the lips, mouth and throat. We also looked at how having a positive attitude could have a beneficial effect on your health and wellbeing. Finally we looked at a possible link between diet and Prostate Cancer, particularly how a high fat (particularly saturated fats), low vegetable diet can increase the chance of contracting Prostate Cancer significantly. On next weeks Bodytalk we have a guest from Spire Hartswood Hospital. One of our regular contributors, Dr Chris Kelsey, consultant rheumatologist at Spire Hartswood Hospital, will be talking about rheumatoid arthritis, known in the trade as RA. RA is a progressive and disabling disease which affects 8 in every 1,000 adults in the UK. It is an incredibly painful condition which may affect any joint, but most commonly attacks the hands, wrists and feet. It can have a devastating effect on daily life. Dr Kelsey will talk about symptoms and diagnosis and the latest treatments that are available to improve the quality of life and long-term outlook for sufferers. Don't forget if you miss one of our guests you can go to the Spire Hartswood Hospital Website and liten to the podcasts; www.spirehealthcare.com/Hartswood/Podcast/ Written by Steve Mead
