The Golde(r)n Hour - 1988, big mac and fries to go!

I get lots of mailing list type emails and for some reason someone sent me a copy of the UK top 100 singles for 6 August 1988 - 21 years ago.

There was some right rubbish in the charts just like always; Yazz - The Only Way Is Up was no 1 and Kylie's Locomotion was the highest new entry at no 2.  However I did find four records that I actually wanted to share with everyone:

At no 9 - down 4 places: Transvision Vamp - I Want Your Love
At no 16 - up 14 places: Siouxsie And The Banshees - Peek A Boo
At no 63 - up 3 places: Pop Will Eat Itself - Def Con One
At no 79 - up 7 places: Stump - Charlton Heston

That's it now, no more 80s, I promise!
