CB July 8th 2009 (with RecusE)

RecusE (l-r): Gaz (bass), JV (vocals), Robb (guitar/vocals).

Tonight I was joined in the studio by three-fifths of recently-reformed locals RecusE. The band originally formed back in 2000, recorded an EP and established a local following through their live shows before splitting in 2002. Following stints in other bands (including Killed By Krueger, featuring Rob and JV, who appeared on Curveballs way back in July 2007), RecusE reformed earlier this year and dropped by the studio just ahead of their comeback gig at Chinnery’s in Southend. Look out for more shows, and have a listen to the band’s EP Break This Day, at www.myspace.com/recuseband.
