CB June 10th 2009 (with Law Abiding Citizens)

Joining me this week were brothers Mike and Simon from London newcomers Law Abiding Citizens. The band’s sound, recalling the Britpop eras of the 60s and 90s, has been winning them many admirers, including ex-Oasis guitarist Bonehead who recently described them as the best band he’d seen in years! That’s far from being the band’s only claim to fame though – they’ve also played alongside the Inspiral Carpets’ Tom Hingley and Happy Mondays’ Bez, who’ll be working with the band on a future release. Law Abiding Citizens’ debut single, Little L, is released on Diffusion Records on June 29th and they can next be seen live at the Bull & Gate in Kentish Town on the 19th. Definitely a name to look out for! For more dates visit www.myspace.com/laclondon and www.diffusionrecords.co.uk.
