Tonight I was joined in the studio by local singer-songwriter Tom Burgess, alongside two of his backing band, Dave and Guy. Originally a guest in the studio back in October, Tom has been hosting the monthly Shangri-La event at the Railway Hotel in Southend, and recording his first album which is due for release in June, with numerous live appearances to coincide, including a set at the Railway Hotel as part of the Leigh Folk Festival on June 21st, at the venue’s monthly Shangri-La night.
