SWITCH 22 - Interview & acoustic track 21 May 07Click here to listen to the interview Stefan D’Bart & Simon Wan are two of the members of Switch 22. The third silent member, Unique Kid, joined the guys when they were guests on The Bear at Lunchtime, but was, unsurprisingly, silent! ![]() Switch 22 have been described as “a slice of pure pop perfection” and are quite unlike anything you’ve seen and heard before! I quote “fusing classic rave anthems with soul ballads, electro hip-hop with cheesy pop, and moody guitar riffs cut with heavy beats these boys are set to save the musical world”. ![]() Oh my goodness, aren’t they just! The tracks from their first mini-album are amazing, and the acoustic track they played in the PhoenixFM studio was to die for. Talent? Switch 22 are LOADED with it! Despite going ‘gooey’, giggling like a schoolgirl & generally getting star struck, The Bear did manage a (fairly) professional interview with Stef & Swanny! ![]() The interview covered areas such as how long the guys had been together, how they write their material, whom they are currently working with, and what Justin Hawkins (The Darkness) is currently doing for them! The guys also talked about the upcoming gig at the Soho Revue Bar, sponsorship & gigging in the U.S. and Tokyo. Remember the name “Switch 22”; Xanthe Bearman predicts that this band is going far!
