The Saturday Kickabout Roundup - 24 January 2009

This weekend's Saturday Kickabout had an FA Cup 4th round with one major shock,  holders Portsmouth going down 2-0 at home to Swansea. Doncaster v Aston Villa ended goalless.

We saw the following results for Essex league sides:-

Scunthorpe                         2-1 Leyton Orient
Southend                            0-1 Yeovil

Bristol Rovers                    0-0 Colchester

Dagenham & Redbridge 3-2 Rochdale



Other football result concerning local sides:-

Billericay         1-0 AFC Hornchurch
Hillingdon Borough 0-4 Brentwood Town

Chelmsford beat Welling 2-0 as they continue to push for promotion to the Blue Square Premier.
