Nick, Jennie and Bianca from Phoenix FM were at Hannakins Farm Community Centre to see the latest Gigset offering.

Review from Jennie:

Gringo Star was the amazing headlining band at Hannakins farm last Sunday, with several outstanding local supporting bands. Gigset and WBCA promoted the bands for this event. It was a fun filled afternoon with some amazing talent on show.

Closure hit of the event, which got everyone in the mood for the rest of the gig. This sassy little six piece really got the crowd going, and was a brilliant band to start the gig.

Gringo Star, the headlining band, had come all the way from Atlanta, Georgia, USA to perform at the gig, as part of their UK tour. I was enthralled to see how versatile the whole group was.

Each song they played, “all change!!” From playing kit, to being the lead singer and playing guitar.

The amount of talent that was on show throughout the whole day was amazing, and with different ages, and influences throughout each of the bands, the gig was suited for all ages and all musical tastes.

The Knocks and Spudwinkles put on a perfect performance, and really kept the atmosphere going for the rest of the gig. An excellent day, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys live music.
