The Saturday Kickabout Roundup - 10 January 2009 The weather seemed to get the better of the football and rugby programme for another weekend, with the morning being spent waiting for the inevitable news concerning almost all of our local sides. We had good news as Andy Murray won the Qatar open in Doha for the second year running, beating Andy Roddick in two straight sets and setting himself up as favourite for the Australian Open. Dan Westram kept us up to date with the football matches that had survived the weather and Lloyd Bonson gave us the latest news from motorsport and rugby worldwide. Mike Burchett brought us the January Community FOotball Surgery, advising us of how they deal with postponed fixtures at youth level. Mike also updated us on his thoughts on the Respect Campaign. If you have any questions you would like us to ask Mike for February's Football Surgery, feel free to leave a comment and we will be able to discuss your points with Mike next month.
