The Saturday Kickabout - 1 November
With an almost full Premier League programme and the qualifying for this season's title deciding Brazilian Grand Prix, it was another busy two hours for The Saturday Kickabout.
Billericay won 3-2 in their home game to Margate. Brentwood had a mid-season friendly against Dulwich Hamlet, which they won 4-1.
The 1.00 kick-off had Colchester taking on Southend at Roots Hall, with a 6 goal thriller endoing in a 3-3 draw. Elsewhere, Adam Boyd came off the bench and ensured a Leyton Orient win as they beat Hartlepool 1-0. Dagenham and Redbridge battled out against Accrington Stanley in a goalless match on a sodden Victoria Road pitch.
Dan Westram brought the latest scores, as they happened. Lloyd Bonson gave us the low-down on the Brazilian Grand Prix, not too disappointed with Lewis Hamilton's 4th place on the grid, compared with championship rival Felipe Massa's pole position. We finished the show looking forward to Sunday's show-down at Interlagos along with the culmination of the thrilling match at Anfield between Liverpool and Spurs.
Join us every Saturday from 4, in association with Acorn Window Services.
