The Saturday Kickabout - 25 October

With just one Premier League match starting at the traditional time of 3pm, there was still plenty of action for this weekend's Saturday Kickabout.

Brentwood got a point from their visit to Enfield, in a 2-2 thriller. Billericay were down to 10 men in the second half of their home game to Ramsgate but they also managed a 2-2 thriller.

Of the Essex league sides, Colchester managed to win for the first time at their new stadium. They won the match in style, beating Carlisle 5-0. Leyton Orient drew 0-0 at Yeovil and Southend lost 4-2 at Bristol Rovers. Dagenham and Redbridge travelled to Darlington and were beaten 3-0.



A day before Leopards play their first league match at the Brentwood Centre, we spoke to the Team Coach, Jon Burnell. Jon gave us the latest news on the basketball team as Robert Gilchrist returns to action after injury, Jon also told of his finalising plans to bring-in an American player.

Dan Westram brought the latest scores, as they happened. Dan also gave us the low-down on the NFL season, prior to Sunday's game between San Diego and New Orleans at Wembley.
