Centre Ground - Wednesday 17th SeptemberTonight's show featured artists Richard Hawley and punk band Heavy Load. Richard Hawley's album Lady's Bridge was one of our favourite's of last year. We will be seeing Heavy Load play a gig at the ICA on 1st October. Heavy Load champion the right of people with learning disabilities to be fully included in their communities. Their "Stay Up Late" campaign has challenged staff and other people to think about how they support people to be part of mainstream life. Next week we move to Thursday nights and will have a "Live Music Only" night. Guest will be european analyst Kalin Mikov and film buff John Brown. Tonight's play list included: Richard Hawley -Tonight the Streets are Ours / Valantine / Serious Heavy Load - Stay Up Late / Oh Nicole / Frank Butcher The Ramones - Rock n Roll High School Specials - Little Bitch MIA - Paper Planes Kings of Leon - On Call Lily Allen - Everybody's Changing Morrissey - That's Entertainment The Pixies - Broken Face The Clash - Police and Thieves Posted in Centre Ground 18 Sep 2008
