Beijing Olympic Kickabout - Week oneWith China heading the medal tabels on the first day of action in Beijing, we brought news from the main events including two gold medals for the host nation. Britain's Craig Fallon had missed out on a medal, eventually finishing 7th in the Judo. After some negative coverage for Team GB boxing as Frankie Gavin flew home without making a punch, Britain had a much neeed shot in the arm with news that middleweight boxer James DeGale had got his campaign off to a winning start with an impressive 13-4 victory over Egypt's Mohamed Hikal. In the pool Michael Phelps was breaking records from the very start as he stamped his authority in the heats, aiming to go back to the USA with a record 8 medals.
