Other Essex Beagles athletes going to Beijing are Mo Farrah (5000m), Steve Lewis (pole vault), Chris Tomlinson (long jump) and Christine Ohuruogu (400m and 4x400m relay). Local swimmer Mark Forster, at the age of 38, has set himself a goal of winning his first Olympic medal in the 50m freestyle.
