Blonde Logic - Guy 07/05/08

Unfortunately only one member of the band was able to make Freakquency however that is as disappointing as the news gets.

Guy who plays guitar in the band came down from Southend to help me present the show and he was very funny. He dished all the dirty on fellow band member Kelly (Lead singer with a Kate Nash sounding twang) and we received a lot of comments from the singer over the emails.

Guy was extremely fun to work with and as he is also interested in breaking into radio so im sure you will be hearing more from him, one way or the other (That is if Kelly hasn’t locked him away for talking about an object in the shape of a pink lipstick)

The band as a whole are working on some recording at the moment and are performing at Chinnery’s in Southend on the 20^th of June. Even if they don’t perform anything new ‘Deadlock’ is and incredible song not to be missed with Jimmy on bass and Dan on drums.

There have already been discussions about the band coming back and even playing an acoustic session for Phoenix FM so watch out Blonde logic is set to take over a whole new indie era and it is not to be missed.

So get out the “lipstick” t-shirt and start chanting “We built the Pyramids” because these guys are here to stay.
