Sunday 11th May 2008

Hello one and all! Welcome to the new look Back in the 80s show, of course still playing what you love to hear but with some new bits included in to the mix!

Added to the show is my Top 3 of any 80s music i.e. top 3 love songs, top 3 British artists, etc played when the clock gets to 3! Clever, ay? And this week I have included my top 3 female artists, that perhaps made the 80s music scene a little bit better with them!

Also included is my top 3 songs from a particular artist or album, and this week it’s the rocking Bruce Springsteen with his classic album Born in the USA from 1984. He will be touring the UK in May at Arsenals Emirates Stadium in London with The E Street Band. For more concert information go to www.ticketmaster.co.uk for more details.

My 80s TV recommendation for this week is US Sitcom Cheers, starring Ted Danson and Woody Harrelson, Season 1-9 available to buy on DVD and broadcasting on Paramount Comedy 2, available on Sky Channel 128!

My 80s film recommendation is the Time Travelling Thriller Back to the Future Starring Christopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox, the trilogy is now available to buy on DVD box set.
