Back again on the show this week was Patricia Chalkley, trying to talk us out of our bad habits.
Pat is a holistic therapist with many years experience in working to help people turn around their lives.
She explained that one of the first things we need to look at are our daily routines. Sometimes we get so stuck with what we think we should be doing that there's no room to let new things in. Try making a small change each day. Even if it's just changing the order that you do things in, or try using different routes to work or school. Change the scenery and change your mood.
Pat also spoke to us about hte American Indian form of healing which connects with animals. Are you a squirrel, hoarding things just in case you might need them? Do you work like a beaver? Are you as strong as an ox? We all have certain characteristics that are reflected in the animal kingdom. For strength try adopting the ways of a lion, or for gentleness, a butterfly.
