Saturday 22 March 2008 - Saturday Breakfast Show

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PHOENIX FM!!!

That’s right Phoenix FM became 365 days old on Saturday and the boys kicked off the weekend celebration in style. The show was packed full of the usual goodness, including the weekly competition ‘The Sound of Music’.

The boys weren’t alone on the show, as they had local band ‘Echo’ in the Studio. They chatted with the boys about up coming gigs, musical influences and what their favourite sandwiches were!! Echo then treated the boys (and Brentwood & Billericay) to three cracking tunes in the studio to help kick off the Phoenix’s birthday in style. Thanks to the boys Sam, Harry and John for coming in.

Joe v Pro saw Mark choose ‘Like I Do’ by Minipop, against David’s ‘Stop’ from Against Me.

If you missed the show, you missed a corker, don’t make the same mistake again! Tune in next week from 7am only on Phoenix 98FM.
