Saturday April 12^th 2008

 

Wow another whole week has gone by all ready! Which meant me and Anna were back with you again for another 2 hours of music, facts, gossip and random chat!

 

So Anna started off the show with the news! Which was rather well done if I do say so myself

 

So then to get us in the Saturday mood we played:

We then had our weekly chat about our weeks! Wow that’s a mouthful! We found out that Anna had been shopping and bought a coat (what a fun filled week she had!!!) so after I blatantly took the mickey out of Anna she ask ed what I had done and then found out that I had been to Ipswich V Cardiff and proceeded to laugh at that too! So we were pretty even in both having very uninteresting weeks! So we decided to try and end on a high with a run down of the top 5 from this weeks chart!

As we were rapidly running out time already we decided just to play Duffy, The Kooks and Estelle from the Top 5 this week!

 

As we were rapidly running out of time we played Daddy Yankee and Gasolina and then went straight into the interesting facts which this week were:

We then had our 1^st ever phone call! We decided after the show to try and get someone on the phone ever single week! So this week we had our ex IT teacher Kathryn Evans or “Miss” as we call her! She talked about her chickens and chicken keeping courses that she runs and details on this can be found at www.omlet.co.uk she then asked if we could play The Jam with That’s Entertainment for her and her son James, so we did that!!

 

We then played Bell + Sebastian with I’m A Cookoo and then went straight into our weekly Top 20 show talk! So we played Just Like A Pill by Pink as that was voted number one by phoenix listeners! We then played Galvanise by the Chemical Brothers as its there top 20 show tonight and that hosted by Bryan Powis from 10pm till Midnight. We also talked about out top 20 which is Oasis and is happening on the 7^th June! And you can vote for all of the Top 20 shows @ www.phoenixfm.com

 

So wow what a packed show so far! We then went straight into mums song this week as we were rapidly running out of time! This week it was Gemma’s mums turn! So she choose A Dianna Ross song which unfortunately we didn’t have and couldn’t find anywhere! So she chose Al Green with Tired Of Being Done, which we all agreed was a good choice!

 

As then end of the show was looming we finished of with a few of our favourite tracks!
