5th April what a packed show!!!

5^th April

 

Well the 5^th of April is here, it only comes once a year, much like the 4^th of April and quite possible the 6^th of April but anyway here what happened on the 5^th of April on mine and Anna’s show!

 

 

Music Music Music was the general theme of the first twenty minutes of the show! We had music that included:

Futureheads – Beginning Of The Twist

Sugababes – Denial

Taio Cruz – Come On Girl

 

After Taio Cruz we had our weekly chat about our weeks! (try saying that quickly!) we found out that neither of us had done much, apart from Anna went to look around a University! That had a nice array of technical equipment!

 

So after the (short) weekly chat we introduced a BRAND NEW feature! Called “Monthly Song” where we choose one song and play it every show for a month! So for April we have got Scatman by Scatman John. So listen out every week for the monthly song! And any suggestions for the next monthly song will be appreciated!!

 

So we talked for rather along while with no music so we made up for this with a whole bunch of amazing tracks we random banter in between!!

We then had another feature this one has been around for a while but its still very popular! Haha yes that’s right “Interesting Facts” so we found out that: Today was the start of national pet month that Sunday was world health day and Parkinson’s awareness week begins, Tuesday sees the national press Awards begin and Friday is the Energy Globe Awards at the European Parliament in Brussels.

 

So after a whirlwind of factual information Anna and I thought it best to calm down with some more music!

Wow music overload! We thought we have another rather large chat! This time about the Top 20 Shows that are currently happening on Phoenix 98 FM we talked about Danni’s Top 20 Show which is Pink and that is happening tonight! We also talked about Steve’s Top 20 show that happened last week he did championed The Killers who’s top song ever as voted by you was Mr Brightside so we played that! After this it was getting near the end of the show!! So we thought right time for Mum’s song! This week it was Danni’s mums turn! She choose Winner Takes All by Abba which sadly neither of us had! So we played Abba with Gimme Gimme Gimme which we thought was a more than adequate substitute!

 

So after this we only had tome to say bye and play one last song before handing over! So we finished with Utah Saints and Something New 08!
