Saturday 8 March 2008 - Saturday Breakfast Show

If you missed this weeks Saturday Breakfast Show on Phoenix 98 FM with Mark and David then you missed the following…

‘Joe vs Pro’ – The boys revamped this feature by both picking a brand new tune that was on the verge of being released and letting you the public choose which you thought was best. Mark went for The Ting Tangs – Great DJ, whilst David went for Estelle – American Boy. Thanks to all who votes, Estelle was the winner and played out the show before 10am.

On this weeks ‘Sound of Newsic’ we had Dire Straits – ‘Money for Nothing’ and Goldfrapp – ‘Number 1’, they were the clues that made up the news story that Bill Gates was no longer the world richest man, after he was replaced by Warren Buffett. Well done to Eddie Kelly from Noak Hill who guessed correctly and won a great live session CD.

‘Challenge Dave’ was replaced by ‘Challenge Mark’ as David set the time to beat at 1:50:00 for Mark’s Brentwood Half Marathon time. Can he beat that? Tune in next week to find out.

So make sure you start your weekend right with Phoenix FM’s Saturday Breakfast with Mark & David next week.
