Just for the craic......
Bryan Powis and Marni Phoenix FM Vm Show as Steve had better things to do!
Marni believed that she was in the safe hands of Bryan this week, mwah ha ha ha, little did she know! Apparently he did a great job too! And it was a lot of fun talking to Bryan, apparently?. They sorted out peoples skin problems and discussed healthy food choices and they even made some ground breaking progress with their sexuality, or mine at least!
Maybe they need another show to cover those topics further? (Open Up with Bryan Powis) That sounds rude...... maybe they wont do that! Entirely too much sharing for my liking.
Artist of the week was Chemical Brothers but Marni gassed on soooo much he only managed 3 tracks and Marni's choices were Art Of Invasion and Samantha Lombardi.

What she said about what they played;
Again this week we played a track from Art Of Invasion......A bit of electro Punk you could call it!

Art of Invasion
This is a band we featured last week on Vm so we thought we'd bring another song along this week. Not much further to add on them.
They are the 4 piece electro punk band from Sydney, New South Wales.
We played "Lying Shame"
And Melbourne's Samantha Lombardi
Samantha is an 18 year old Melbourne girl who has been performing since a very young age, she started singing lessons at age 9 then took up guitar a few years later and has been writing her own material ever since.
At age 14 she signed her first manager contract.
In late 2005, Samantha released her first independent record.
In early 2006 she was approached to write and sing the theme song for Growing Up Creepy which is a cartoon series in he USA. Growing Up Creepy is now airing in Australia and soon to be in other countries around the world.
So look out for that kids! and adult cartoon lovers like myself.
Recently Sam has been signed to record deal with "FourScreen Entertainment" in North Hollywood California and will be producing some fresh new tunes very soon.
The song we played tonight of Samantha Lombardi's is I think about a year old so go check out her myspace for some great new music www.myspace.com/samanthalombardi and www.samanthalombardi.com for her recently launched official website.
This young lady has an amazing voice. Worth a listen!
The track we played of Sam's was "Do You"
So until next time my friends.......Vm!
