Having survived my fortieth birthday celebrations (yes, honest!) over the weekend, I was very much looking forward to A Wander Through The Arts with guest BOB SOUTHGATE who, like all of the Southgate ‘clan’ is incredibly talented yet very personable (although none of the family could ever be as laid back as Bob).

Reminiscing about various past shows which have featured his very talented family (Liz, his wife, and sons Chris and Ian) we listened to a wonderful mix of songs from the shows – not necessarily the headline song, instead Bob chose to select songs for their quality. His list included:-

1. Overture from All For One by John Trent Walace and Kevin Heuston 
2. In His Eyes – Jekyll & hyde
3. A selection from Ragtime
4. Mountain Duet – Chess
5. Perfectly Marvellous – Cabaret
6. Feed Me – Little Shop of Horrors
7. All I Care About – Chicago
8. No One Is Alone – Into The Woods
9. Closer Than Ever
10. Finale (Children Will Listen) – Into The Woods

Next week we have Mike Le Surf and Julie Morrissey, the husband and wife team behind so many inclusion projects for people with special and complex needs in and around Brentwood.
