Saturday 19 January 2008 – Saturday Breakfast Show

This week’s breakfast show had a brand new feel to it, as new presenter David Heley joined Mark on the show for the first official time. You may remember David from a pre Christmas edition of the show; well he enjoyed it so much he has decided to become a fully fledged member of the Phoenix FM family.

In a brand new feature called ‘Challenge Dave’ listeners were asked to call up and challenge the new boy at a game of Mark’s choice and stand a chance of winning a great prize. Michael from Chelmsford was listening on his digital radio and took on David at the ‘TV theme tunes introductions game’. Michael ran out the winner after David didn’t understand the rules to answering a question. The contest finished 3-2 meaning David got off to a defeat in his very first week.

Tune in next week between 7am and 10am to see if David can get his first win under his belt, as well as all usual local news and all the weekends events on the Saturday Breakfast Show, only on Phoenix 98FM.
