The week that ended on 20th AprilYet another busy little week at Phoenix Towers- I spoke to comedian Lucy Porter, whose tour came to the Colchester Arts Centre at the weekend, and also to Sandra Thorpe, who organised the Sign Zone variety show that was on at the Brentwood Theatre on Saturday. Lots of things also seemed to be catching on fire, like Jordan's back garden, Japanese toilets and a 5 million pound house... oh, and in a strange twist, the fire alarm set itself off on Thursday... no fire though, which was good, because that would have been fricking scary! Album of the week was the Long Blondes, Someone to Drive You Home... which nobody seemed to like... well, 60% of people voted it as a no goer on the text vote... hopefully next week's album choice wilil fare a little better....
