Early January in Gemmaland

It was something of a busy week last week- guests a go-go talking about dancing, losing weight, getting out of debt and the work of the British Heart Foundation (in fact if you've missed them, it doesnt matter too much because they're back on the Phoenix Rising page and up a bit from this page

The Jam was the band of the week, so I played out plenty of stuff from them, and all of the normal stuff as normality re-emreged on Rising! Ah, you know how it is- we went a bit different over Christmas and the New Year, so it was this week that it all got back to how it used to be- I had a natter to James about Christmas telly, new music and films (he's got his own pages, so I wont steal his thunder though), I also had a chat to David at Link FM for the first time in aaages about impending holidays and a few eventy bits that were going on across Havering, Brentwood and Billericay

Apart from that, my week was mostly made of cutting up hundreds of flyers for the impending Live Sessions at the Brentwood Theatre (in fact, its this coming Saturday- tickets still available from www.phoenixfm.com, watching an obscene amount of telly (I highly recommend Honest and the Echo Beach/Moving Wallpaper combo) and some DIY (well, me and Mr G went to B&Q and bought floor tiles and flat pack furniture, which we've just left in the hall and not moved. Hey ho)
