Nick Field All about Nick ... Favourite bands/artists Where to start? Super Furry Animals, Dirty Royals, Ladytron, Reuben, The Bluetones, Ace Out, Republic Of Loose... Be it indie, punk, metal, hip-hop, electronica or world, I'll give everything a try. Passion for the music is more important than genre - and there's passion out there that no TV talent show or manufactured act can match. Favourite books "Middlemarch" by George Eliot (my favourite college read), "How to Win Friends & Influence People" by Dale Carnegie and "Eats, Shoots & Leaves" by Lynne Truss. Favourite TV and films All I seem to watch on TV these days are music and game shows for some reason, although I have warmed to the likes of Family Guy, while the likes of Monty Python, The Two Ronnies and The Fast Show never age. Similarly I can't remember the last time I went to the cinema, although I'd count Seven, Pulp Fiction, xXx and The Shawshank Redemption as my favourite films. One other thing I love Working out, physically and mentally. I'm totally addicted to online riddles like www.notpron.com. One thing I really hate I'm not a big sports fan but cricket really gets on my nerves, along with bad grammar, people who exaggerate everything (journalists especially)... I'd better stop there actually. |
