The Phoenix FM Creative SessionsPhoenix FM's third annual(ish) Creative Sessions are almost complete! Bands recorded on 3 November 2007: The Colours Between : Rinoa : Torque Armada : Fashoda Crisis : Argelico : Blind Vision Bands recorded on 17 November 2007: Closure : Understated : Mixup : Reactions : Dee Hunter : Red Burns Black Bands recorded on 1 December 2007: Carbon Footprint : One Sugar Club : Kalashnikov Kids : Weirdgear We're currently mixing/mastering the tracks and hope to get them out later this year. Phoenix FM's Creative Sessions have been an outlet for local and unsigned bands to get valuable studio experience and airplay. The sessions started in 2005 and to date we have had a grand total of 38 different bands play and record between 2 and 4 songs for the sessions (in addition to numerous acoustic/live sessions in the Phoenix FM studios themselves). All songs are recorded at Seahorse Recording Studios in East Horndon, Brentwood, and were engineered and mastered by Dave Shalloe.
