My, my, my!  What a great show this week!  Why, why, why?  Because of my lovely listeners and their great taste in music!  Tom Jones, Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, The Happy Mondays, Eagles Of Death Metal, all these and more were chosen, or enjoyed, by people with their ears tuned to 98.0FM last Thursday night.

It was week 9, and therefore I inevitably chose the Camberwell Beauty as the Insect Of The Week. My ‘Token Female’ was Joan Armatrading, which took me back, and I had ‘Expand My Mind’ suggestions from Mike, Mel and Paul respectively.

Discussed in the chatroom was the possibility of a blindingly good bassline show, so if you have a song in mind that has a superb bassline, let me know either here (comment below) or through the show’s Facebook page.  I’ll see what has turned up in the next couple of weeks.  It’s either that or I’ll just be playing QOTSA and Elbow all night, so have your say!
