BATTLE STAGE! is Phoenix FM’s “Battle of the Bands” competition, in association with the Brentwood Festival.
THE PRIZE:
A unique opportunity to play in front of a crowd of thousands of people at the BRENTWOOD FESTIVAL on Sunday 7 July 2013, alongside The Loveable Rogues, The Dualers and a host of other top acts.
UPDATE – HEATS
We had a high number of top-quality entrants and we’re very sorry that we’ve had to turn down some great acts. However 12 artists have made it through and we’re pleased to announce them as follows:
HEAT 1 – Saturday 27 April 2013
Belter and El Deyma were both chosen to go through to the final, beating The Victories and Ninja Baby.
HEAT 2 – Saturday 18 May 2013
Rajiv was the winner beating Soma Rising and the Albino Peaches.

Acts will be judged by representatives of Phoenix FM, Brentwood Festival and Brentwood Leisure Trust and we will be looking for a number of qualities, including musicianship, quality of songs, stage presence and audience reaction. The final will take place on Saturday 22 June 2013 – all events at the Brentwood Centre foyer, 8pm start.
