At least I don’t think I’m cool anymore…

On this week’s show I was flying solo so that meant way more time for great music. And what a mixed bag it was! Full listing of all the tracks I played is below:

Michael Jackson – Blood on the dancefloor

Fleur East – Sax

Fratellis – Chelsea dagger

Kula Shaker – Govinda

Taylor Swift – look what you made me do

George Michael & Aretha Franklin – I knew you were waiting

Ordinary Boys vs Lady Sovereign – Nine 2 five

Tom Petty – Free fallin’

Def Leppard – Animal

Bee Gees – Stayin’ Alive

Katy Perry – This is how we do

Avicii feat. Sandro Cavazza – Without you

Blur – There’s no other way

Scissor Sisters – Take your mama

The Verve – Bittersweet symphony

Headliner 1 – 5

Dua Lipa – New rules

Beatles – Penny Lane

Tears for Fears – Everybody wants to rule the world

We also had a look ahead to this week’s Strictly and learnt a bit about the samba. Plus we had an update from the world of celeb with the entertainment news. And we played Headliner!

About Naomi Sayers

A recent immigrant to Essex, I was born and raised in West Sussex. I got into radio at university, where in my final year I presented three shows a week on the student station. After graduating I worked as a broadcast journalist in Scotland but then moved back to London to the call of a corporate career and couldn't find a radio station that would have me! That all changed when I moved to Billericay in March 2017. I took over presenting Feelgood Saturday a couple of months later and I haven't looked back since. I try and make it 120 minutes of positivity each week – it certainly cheers me up on a Saturday morning anyway!
