Canning Town’s Vase campaign ended at the first hurdle as Enfield Borough won their 1st Qualifying Round tie 4-2.

 

Senior League Cup

Hutton were the biggest winners of the day as they progressed into the next round on the end of a 4-0 win over Old Chelmsfordians. Raheem Waith, Max Bolton, Dan Carpenter and Rio Manicom scored the goals. Daniel Tesfay and Teo Borozan scored the Snaresbrook goals in a 2-1 win over FC Hamlets, who pulled one back via John Gilroy. Newbury Forest eke out a 1-0 win over Roydon with Joe Omigate grabbing the all-important goal. Lanre Sodeinde, Scott Former and Anthony Wiseman were the Dagenham United marksmen in a 3-2 win over Ryan. Brandonlee Brown and Moise Balcombo scored the Ryan replies. Benfleet progress after a 2-0 win over Academy Soccer; joining them will be Galleywood who edged out Chingford Athletic with a 1-0 win. Danny Dow scored the Ongar Town goal in a 2-1 after extra time defeat at Great Baddow.

Catholic United remain top of the table despite only picking up a point at Harold Wood Athletic. Max Kent scored their goal in the 1-1 draw, with Matthew Donovan scoring the Harold Wood effort. Springfield are second after coming through a nine goal thriller at White Ensign. Joe Mayer and Ross Lamb scored twice apiece with Andy Elgar scoring a penalty in the 5-4 away win. Frenford picked up their first win of the season as a Danny Driscoll brace plus a further goal from Ade Cole helped them see off Leigh Ramblers with a 3-1 win. Justin Hazell scored the Leigh Ramblers consolation. Kelvedon Hatch are still without a win as they lost 3-1 at home to Basildon Town. Jack Hatt did the damage, scoring a hat-trick that cancelled out Chris Neville’s goal. Jermaine Purchas scored the Bishops Stortford Swifts goal in a 1-1 draw with Rayleigh Town; Reece Tranter meanwhile scored a brace in Manford Way’s 2-2 draw with May & Baker E.C. Lee Newton and Luke Dickens scored the May & Baker replies.
