A tale of two restaurants

Yes today we reported on the different marketing strategies adopted by two restaurants.

Man tax

Firstly from Melbourne, Australia came news of the newly opened vegan venue, THE HANDSOME HER CAFE which not only provides priority seating for women, but for one week a month also charges male diners an 18% “tax” to reflect the average pay difference of 17.7% currently generally adopted in Australia.

Amazingly although the surcharge is not actually fully enforced, so far no one has refused to cough up.

Indeed it seems that men have actually travelled from across town to visit them and to pay the man tax!

Some have even been putting extra into the donation jar.

Meanwhile over in China the TRENDY SHRIMP restaurant have been offering other incentives for their female customer base by offering discounts based on the size of their breasts.

Discounts available

Apparently since the promotion started at the beginning of August, customer numbers have increased by about 20%.

Well I never!

See you again tomorrow,
