On today’s show we heard why a party of priests were thrown out of a pub.

How embarrassing is that?

But it wasn’t their fault.

No it seems that the doorman mistook them as being part of a potentially rowdy stag party but everything turned out right in the end when the manager established that they were “the real thing” and not in fancy dress.

It later emerged that the group had encountered a similar problem at another hostelry during the previous week.

There’s a bit of a pattern developing here would you not say?
