Do you know the difference between Freehold and Leasehold?

It’s very important to know this when buying a property.

And did you know that some one time land owners reserved mining and mineral rights for themselves and their successors on the land they sold?

If your house is on that land you could have problems if, for example, fracking was granted under your property.

Later in the show we heard all about the Rubbish Party. No I’m not taking a swipe at anyone – The Rubbish Party really exists and what’s more, the party’s founder was elected on to the East Ayrshire Council, in Irvine Valley, Scotland promising to clean up the area, which would involve reducing litter, dog mess, pollution and fly tipping.

And what’s more they’ve already established cleaning events to make sure they keep their promises.

Now there’s a first! Now I am being flippant.
