Friday Night Extra 28.4.17 with guests Halle, Eleanor and Amelia from Ingatestone C. of E. Junior School talking about their confirmation.

Halle, Eleanor and Amelia joined me tonight to talk about their experiences at the confirmation service in Chelmsford Cathedral on Easter Eve. They are all in year 6 at Ingatestone and Fryerning C of E Junior school.  They spoke about how the service was an amazing experience for them, one that they would never forget. Listeners in Australia and Kentucky, USA, commented on how confident they sounded.  A listener in London commented that they spoke with a real sense of understanding. Halle and Eleanor also chose a favourite artist and spoke about the track. As another listener commented, “it was amazing to think they were Junior school children. They sounded so much older”.

The music tonight included another exclusive track by Lisa Harman. We also remembered the career of Bananarama, as they are planning their first ever live performances, following a re-union. When he arrived, Matt said they were part of his growing up, but he thought the ticket prices that he had looked at today were too high.

Tonight’s playlist
