The Essex Big Weekend – 1/2 April

Carol Jolly from Visit Essex joined us in the studio today to talk about an exciting giveaway for THE ESSEX BIG WEEKEND on the 1st and 2nd April and don’t forget if you are a winner of tickets there will also be a SELFIE COMPETITION to enter. GOOD LUCK!

Calling all Essex residents! We’re all guilty of overlooking what’s on our own doorsteps, but for one weekend in April, we want to give you the opportunity to enjoy all that our county has to offer. There are thousands of free tickets up for grabs for popular attractions and hidden gems.

The ballot closes on Friday 17th March, so all you need to do is browse through the many offers we have available and apply for tickets for wherever you fancy! You’ll hear from us around the 20th March if you’ve been successful. Happy hunting!

Closes 17th March so get onto the website and apply for your free tickets.

Excitement is building for Visit Essex’s first EVER Essex Big Weekend! Residents will be able to visit some of our county’s finest tourist attractions for FREE!

Attractions across the county have donated FREE tickets for residents to use on 1st and 2nd April 2017. Residents can bid for available tickets to as many attractions as they wish from 16th February – 17th March. Two tickets per household (per attraction) will be allocated by ballot to the lucky winners (some family tickets will also be available).

The fun-filled weekend will include tickets for tours, family days out and adrenaline-fuelled experiences.

Organised by Visit Essex, the Essex Big Weekend is designed to encourage residents to rediscover the amazing things to see and do in our county – and to then spread the word about them.
