Friday Night Extra 9.12.16 including an appreciation of the musical legacy of Greg Lake.

We let the music do the talking tonight. In the first hour we remembered John Glenn. In 1962 he was the first American to obit the earth. He went back to space in 1998, aged 77 years. Many listeners found this fact amazing to believe. On that flight he said, “To look at this kind of creation out here and not believe in God is to me impossible.” In the second hour we had an appreciation of the musical legacy of Greg Lake. We had tracks from King Crimson, as well as Emerson, Lake and Palmer. It was amazing to sit in the studio, volume up high, and listen to this amazing music.
