Paul Yarwood from Secure Haven was my guest in the first hour of the show tonight. He said that he and his wife set up as funeral directors after what they felt were personal negative experiences. They seek to have everything in relation to cost made very clear when dealing with a client. He also feels that they seek to treat ashes storage with dignity. He found dealing with bereaved people a very positive experience when seeing how much they have been helped with grief and loss. He feels that after care is very important. He is also keen for families to ask questions. This can be done very easily through the website. www.securehaven.co.uk where they is much more information. Paul also chose two tracks for us. In the second hour I was joined by local evangelist Peter Ruck and Joseph Mathai. Joseph has organised a trip to the U.K. for pastor Charles Price, who has a world-wide television and radio ministry. Charles will be at Trinity Church in Brentwood next week, 14th, 15th and 16th of October. They said that Charles will be giving very positive messages of hope. More information on www.livingtruth.co.uk It was Sting’s 65th birthday earlier in the week, so we played two tracks from his vast catalogue of recordings tonight. We also heard tracks by Michael Casswell and Rod Temperton, who both passed away this week. Rod is best known for writing Thriller. Today we played his Oscar nominated song from the film, The Colour Purple.
