1980 – The first Monsters of Rock heavy metal festival was held at Donington Park in England. Rainbow headlined, and Judas Priest, Scorpions, April Wine also performed. The Monsters of Rock festival is now held all over the world, last year in Argentina and this year Germany hosted with band Rainbow headlining again!
